The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is a 51 - credit hour program focused on producing professionals who are clinically competent as defined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to respectfully and compassionately address the needs (i.e., prevention, identification, treatment) of individuals across the life span with communicative disorders, differences or those who are at risk of such problems within and across diverse communities, settings, and contexts.
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a new academic program, the Master of Science degree in Health Informatics. The program is offered online and is both a thesis and a non-thesis option. The Master’s program requires students to complete 36 credit hours that includes either a capstone or a research project.
Xavier’s Master of Arts in Counseling program is a 60 – credit hour graduate program accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Elevate your career to the next level of leadership and service as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Choose from two specialization tracks: School Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both of which align with CACREP standards, equipping you to be a knowledgeable, reflective, and ethical clinical mental health counselor or professional school counselor.
